TA Services’ Loretta Sercy Named Recipient of 2026 Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award

Sercy was recognized in the Workforce Innovator category for raising the standard in training, operational accountability, and carrier relationship management

MANSFIELD, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TA Services announced that Loretta Sercy, Director of Business Development, was named a recipient of this year's Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award, in the Workforce Innovator category. The award, presented by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company's supply chain network.

Sercy earned this distinction for her exemplary leadership in workforce development and operational excellence, which extends well beyond account management. By building and implementing comprehensive, custom carrier onboarding profiles and establishing clear standards for accessorials and service expectations, Sercy has helped create stronger, more consistent execution across her accounts.

That same approach led her to develop a normalized standard operating procedure (SOP) for accessorial charges in collaboration with a key customer. The framework established clear triggers and approval processes, improving transparency, and helping ensure carriers are compensated fairly and consistently.

“This award isn’t just a way to honor females in supply chain. It’s a representation of progress, it’s a symbol of growth, and it’s a way to celebrate achievements of all women in the supply chain who continue to pave the way for the next generation,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and co-founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum™. “Of the 300-plus submissions received, 70 of them were self-submissions, the highest number of self-nominated applications ever in the history of this award. And, 44 of the submissions received were from male counterparts, also the highest number of male-submitted applications to date. This year’s list of winners entails females making a difference in the supply chain, and I’m honored to share their journeys.”

Sercy handles business development for TA Services across a multi-state territory, working with both new customers and accounts she’s had for years. She joined TA Services in June 2022 and has spent the years since building out onboarding profiles, pricing structures, and service standards that her account managers and operations staff use across her book of business.

“Loretta has a unique ability to connect commercial growth with operational excellence,” said Nick Shroeger, Chief Commercial Officer at TA Services. “She doesn’t just win business, she builds the processes, expectations, and relationships that help our teams execute at a higher level. This recognition is well deserved and reflects the impact she continues to have on our customers, carrier partners, and people.”

“At the end of the day, this business runs on relationships, not transactions. Every onboarding profile, every SOP, every carrier standard I’ve built is really just my way of making sure the people I work with, whether that's a client, a carrier, or my own team, can trust that things will be done right. That trust is everything,” said Loretta Sercy, Director of Business Development at TA Services. “I didn't get here alone, and I don't do this work alone either. This recognition belongs just as much to the account managers and operations staff who use these tools every day, and to the clients who trusted me enough to build something better together."
